RM01A was originally developed for race cars. It’s a lightweight
muffler with high efficient exhaust. Moreover, by changing its raw
materials and construction, the weight of RM-01A has become approximately
50% lighter compared with a regular silencer which, as a result,
significantly increases acceleration.
The capacity of silencer and the thickness of its main pipe are reviewed
in addition to adopt the lightweight bracket & fringe. Its Lightweight
construction keeps efficiency, while maintaining its sporty intensity.
All-titanium model (Super Lightweight), “type Ti,” is
also available.
To the question, "Can the RM-01A be lightened further more?".
The answer for the ultimate RM-01A was produced in conjunction with the
test driver at Fujitsubo. After intensive testing and effort, the all
titanium conversion RM-01A was produced for the Mitsubishi EVO Lancer IV /
V / VI (CN9A / CP9A) which weighs in at 3.7Kg as compared to the old
RM-01A which is weighed in at 10.2Kg (reduction of 63.8%). As for the main
pipe diameter and internal composites, RM is always achieving the result
with each testing done. The specifications of 01A promise "high
performance". The installation of the RM-01A is done by the base
plate which guarantees the durability of the system.
It uses 1.0 / 1.2mm SUS304 stainless steel. This provides the lightweight and
strength. By selecting the best wall thickness of the material, this gives the
responds necessary for genuine high performance design.

The power getter series is designed
for everyday life with the inner silencer which can be removed to change the
sound volume of the exhaust. You can separate the everyday driving condition and
performance with the silencer.
The powerful exhaust sound comes in conjunction with the large
opening of the tail pipe. The main silencer has a shell type design,
orthodox caulking type and taper type. The large bore pipe diameter layout
silencer increase the torque and the power.

The Super Ti is designed with the know-how of the endurance

Made entirely of titanium, the main silencer and exhaust tip is Super light
